Welcome back to the 63rd installment of my blog, in which I don’t claim to be an expert, in fact, the opposite. I’m a new user of the AR platform and want to share my findings and experiences as I go through and build rifles, shoot guns, and be the Operations Manager at Tyrant Designs.

What do James Bond, John Wick, and Harry Hart have in common? They all have very good tailors. It’s not hard to recognize that many current action movies star a hero/protagonist that above all things is always dressed incredibly well. For some people like special forces, the CIA, and personal security details, what they wear might mean life or death.

I’m not talking about wearing something out of season aka fashion suicide. What I’m talking about is a suit that is designed for people who have a good chance of getting into a scrap that puts their life on the line.

Grayman and Company are taking “tactical fashion” to a whole new level by tailoring suits that are designed for just this purpose. These suits are made with Loro Piana wool and silk, which means they are very stylish and high end.

Top Features

1. Cut-resistant sleeves to protect your arms in a knife fight.

2. Holster liner.

3. Quickdraw button for increasing the accessibility of quickly drawing your firearm.

4. RFID shielding pockets, which block out wireless communication and signaling.

5. Action Back, which is an elastic back attached to the sleeves which enhance arm mobility. Allowing the user to get into the isosceles shooting stance without resistance.

Grayman and Company mail each customer a trial garment. Then they specifically tailor the suit to the exact dimensions of the customer. These suits are not mass produced, they are made to order. These things are badass, they provide mobility and protection without sacrificing style. This type of high-end customization does come at a cost. These suits start at $1300! Probably not worth it for most people, but its cool to know the option is there if I ever want to switch from being operations manager to an operator.

P.S. If you don’t know who Harry Hart is, you should watch Kingsman: The Secret Service.

P.P.S. They're not bullet proof, but I did just say P P
