BREAKING NEWS: CEO of GemTech canned

Welcome to our first try at "Breaking News." No, this will not be CNN where breaking news is literally the space between the newscaster's breathes. This is real, accurate, somewhat valuable information. That is recent in its currency. You get it, stuff you would ACTUALLY want to read.

Anyway, it looks like the CEO of GemTech Silencers (recently bought out by Smith and Wesson, ever heard of 'em?!) has been fired, aka walked out, aka sh*t canned, aka given the ole heave. Honestly, we have met him a few times and did some small collaborations with G.T. and he seemed like a nice, personable individual. So perhaps this is merely just what S&W felt like doing since taking over the company. Regardless, it now brings to question the direction of GemTech and whether or not they will be better off or not.

Honestly speaking I have no clue, but its news. and its breaking. and you read it all so no give backs. Go on and share the knowledge with your friends. Show them how up to date you are with the industry. You're welcome.

Share your thoughts below! Have you ever been fired? I have...twice. Who knew plastic chairs could be flammable?!

Wait times are 4 months to a year according to NFA tracker
I sent in my form to ATF to make my Scorpion Evo into a short barreled rifle 6 months ago
When I call, I am told I am “ in process”
I would have just put a folding brace on it and not needed to do the form at all, but I wanted to put a vertical fore grip on it also
A Vertical fore grip on a pistol requires the tax stamp while a folding Sig brace does not
I just bought a suppressor and I’m going to send in the stamp for that.
I can only hope the suppressor stamp comes back faster than the short-barreled rifle stamp
now it will be a two stamp gun which cost $400 just in taxes!

DGAF…..I cant own a suppressor. At the end of the day, its always about money. Yes…fired plenty of times (going on 21 yrs at this job). We’ve all worked shit jobs when we were younger. Pissing money and time away. No one ever told me chasing pussy is a bad investment lol…

They have not formally charged the pilot yet, and the St. Louis County prosecutors have not been contacted. Passengers on the flight he was supposed to command were given $100 vouchers for their inconvenience (LOL).

In light of recent tragic events, it has me pondering a simple question. If I come into contact with an active shooter, should I engage him or not?
